Hoy es el segundo y casi ultimo dia de actividades del VII encuentro de sistemas, lamentablemente creo que esta dando mucho que desear, muy poca participación de los chavos, es triste ver que el encuentro del año pasado estuvo mucho mejor que el actual. Pero asi es esto del abarrote, esto nos sirve para darnos cuenta que si se quiere que este sea un evento realmente importante en el ambito tecnológico hay que hecarle los kilos, en varios aspectos, tanto logistico como técnico.

Fueron varios factores, no vale la pena listarlos, mas bien lo que hace falta es hacer una buena critica, critica constructiva para el próximo año.

Algo rescatable es que hay ponentes de muy buen nivel, bueno para mi gusto nos acompaña el patux, redimido, antonio galindo, the_tre, maho, y h1pp1e, de los que van de lado linuxero, con muy buenos temas, otros como victor larios, y demas ponentes de la universidad.

Seguimos en el evento mañana es el ultimo dia del evento aunque ya hoy fue la clausura. Si consigo un cargador para la camara hay tomo fotos y les paso las fotos xD

Hace 20 años, mientras era estudihambre en la H. ESIME tuve la fortuna de conocer gente interesante y de las más diversas maneras de pensar. Fué en ese tiempo que tuve más roce con el mensaje de Marx, Lenin, El Che y otros.
Fué tan fuerte en mi el impacto de esas filosofías que comencé a estudiar ruso, un año de estudiar esa lengua me abrió una visión muy enriquecedora de que lo que creemos y damos por hecho en México no lo es tanto en otros paises. Detalles tan elementales como la inexistencia del verbo Ser-Estar en ruso fuerzan a las neuronas a evaluar todo.
Mis planes en ese tiempo eran ir a una maestria en la universidad Patricio Lumumba y de ahi a seguir los pasos de Iuri Gagarin.
Fueron tiempos de mucho aprender acerca de las corrientes de izquierda. Me tocó ver el proceso de la elección-fraude del 88 con la aplastante victoria de Cárdenas, aquel si fué claramente un fraude y 'estuvo pelón'.

Entre las muchas cosas que aprendí en aquel tiempo es que existe gente, mucha gente con la mentalidad de hacer de México un país más equilibrado, con más oportunidades para los desfavorecidos, con más posibilidades de vivir y crecer. Fué muy claro ver como gente de una izquierda pensante hacia cosas propositivas. Incluso me involucré en grupos y movimientos estudiantiles en los que lejos de pintarrajear parades o bloquear avenidas conseguimos que maestros y alumnos dedicáramos horas extras a estudiar matemáticas. Ibamos los fines de semana a clases extras, a hacer ejercicios de práctica de matemáticas. Aquello era un verdadero festival de estudiantes buscando una emancipación popular a través de la ciencia y el trabajo organizado (la técnica al servicio de la patria). En ese momento el amor a la camiseta, la vocación por elevar la calidad, el orgullo de ser politécnico estaba contra un sistema realmente opresor. Y nuestras pintas de bardas eran en pizarrones verdes con gises blancos. Nuestras molotov eran pilas de papel llenos de ejercicios resueltos. Nuestras barricadas eran las butacas que manteníamos calientitas hasta los queridos fines de semana. Ese era un movimiento de izquierda, ese era un movimiento de emancipación estudiantil.
Y lo que mas me deja ese momento es que era sin destruir, era construyendo. Alumnos y maestros dando cachetadas con guante blanco a las autoridades y al gobierno

Cuando vi a la perrada de pejedistas bloquendo calles y destruyendo lo que AL PUEBLO DE MÉXICO le ha costado mucho trabajo sentí mucho ASCO.
Y ese asco era porque en nombre de la izquierda se manupila a miles (millones) de personas azuzandolos a tomar por la fuerza lo que se gana con la cabeza y con el trabajo diario. Usando como carne de cañón a mujeres y ancianos, un espectáculo dantesco.

Hoy un puñado de legisladores del PRD ha dejado de darle su diezmo a su majestad 'el legítimo' (necesito decir quien es?). Asi que seguramente dirá que es un compló, jajajaja.

Creo que es el resurgir de una izquierda inteligente y menos abusiva.
La izquierda no es un atacante, es un constructor. Me parece que la izquierda mexiacana se está sacudiendo a una enorme sanguijuela y está a un muy buen momento de retomar su verdadero cauce. Y lo hace en vísperas del bicentenario de la guerra de independencia y los 100 años de la revolución mexicana.

Por muchos años he creido que si la gente conociera en realidad lo que dice el pensamiento de izquierda y dejaran de ver a un montón de piojosos autonombrarse 'rayitos de esperanza' la izquierda crecería, porque 'el que no conoce a Dios, a cualquier lagarto-rastrero se le arrodilla'

Something what im search for a long time its a torrent software what can do the same of others software like amule, It comes with a web interface what i can control the software from web or external.

Some like have a machine only dedicate to download torrents!!!

amule can do it. But it use the ed2k servers and torrents. I want something light low memory usage for put a old machine only for donwload torrents when i not at home, and control it by webinterface.

So playing with foresight default Software i find transmission comes with that options :) im feel sooooo happy!!!

Hoy en mi diaria realidad de buscar como desaburrirme me puse a escuchar el “live kreation” de Kreator (duh!), y como soy bastante maceta para entender las palabras cantadas, sobre todo si son pronunciadas rápidamente, y más aún si son en un idioma que no sea español, se me ocurrió bajar las letras de todo el dísco, presto me lanzo a google, rápidamente me dice que hay una página que los tiene, entre a ella, y me dispongo a ir página por página para bajar las letras, cuando me doy cuenta que no es necesario hacer copy/paste, tienen un patron bastante definido los URLs (no es raro) pero además cada URL te presenta las letras en un formato extremadamente limpio (solo tengo que borrar con REGEXP 3 lineas y queda perfecto).

Entonces que hago, escribir un script
De inicio lo que hice fue un “seq … … > tt” para agregar lo que faltaba pero luego en el #linux_mx me regaño montecristo me regaño pq debí haber metido el seq dentro del script, así que aquí está la versión más limpia:

Un bello for de bash, que corre sobre los índices de cada URL, y luego con lynx bajo la cada página y la mando a un archivito, y listo, ya después con vim limpié las 3 lineas “extras” que trae cada página, y ya queda chidisimo el archivo con todas las letras del disco, que por cierto está muy chido, Kreator es la clásica banda que se oye mejor en vivo que en discos (como MetallicA, Pantera, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, y le puedo seguir).

Se los recomiendo si les gusta el metal, estos cuates tienen una técnica con las guitarras que hasta da gusto de verdad.

This might be a good message to write in Spanish... But then again, a long time ago I decided this is an English-posting site. So be it, I'll only have to give more background information.
This day marks the date when, 98 years ago, Francisco I. Madero started the Mexican Revolution - About a decade of unrest, civil war and ideologies. The revolution is what created the violent, uncivil image of the Mexican, which accompanied us for long years in many foreigners' minds. The revolution brought to an end 30 years of a single-man rule, the Porfiriato. But that's only the major symptom - The Revolution had many, many other consequences. About one million (out of a 10 million population) people died. There was a very significative rearrangement of the society, a rearrangement that took about half a century to settle. But I won't write more background - You can always ask the wikipedia about our Revolution.
The reason I am posting this is that, as it usually happens in this time of year, several so-called analysts in the media have started asking, was the Revolution really worth it? Did it change anything at all? Did the Revolution in the end win, or was it defeated from within? Should we still celebrate it?
And there are, yes, reasons to doubt it. Renato Leduc, at the same time a great journalist and a delicious poet, says it as many - while at the same time, as nobody else: Tiempos en que era Dios omnipotente / y el señor Don Porfirio presidente / Tiempos, ¡ay! tan iguales al presente, or ya se están muriendo todos / ¡Jesús qué desilusión...! / se está volviendo gobierno / ¡Ay dios...! La revolución.
Anyway... Our media overlords insist on us forgetting the struggles and the real changes that came from them, on rewriting the history... Probably they will push us later on to have the cristeros as the real fathers of the Nation?
Even if so many bits of reality didn't change after Porfirio Diaz's regime fell in 1910, I find it insulting to think that even 70 years of PRI -with very sharp differences between periods, with huge differences between the PRI-born governments- are comparable to 30 years of a one-man rule; even with brutal repressions such as the dirty war against so many subversive movements in the 50s-80s (as officially There Was No Armed Struggle Anymore, just some pesky communist subversives), it cannot be compared to the Porfirian Peace (ask Cananea and Río Blanco). Today we might have a shameful concentration of money and power in very few hands (including the world's richest man), but it certainly does not reach the point of 1910 where most of the Mexican soil was owned by less than 30 families, with latifundios as big as many states...
Anyway - So far, nothing new - just bits I heard here and there, and my reactions to them. But this morning, around 8:25, I tuned in to Noticias IMER, the news program of one of the few public, non-gubernamental, independent radio stations. An interview was under way, but I could not get the interviewed person's name (I guess, a historian - will write to ask for his data). His comments were very interesting, and very worth echoing. I'll try not to distort him.
The Revolution started off very organized, and with a very simple goal: Get Porfirio Diaz out, and call for real federal elections. Sufragio efectivo, no reelección. Of course, the fight was very short, and Madero became the president, with an overwhelming majority. Of course, also, the reactionary sectors set up a coup and killed Madero. Victoriano Huerta seized the power - and that's where the real revolution really began. Groups all over the country (some of which were at unrest since Madero, as they were not seeing the changes they needed - changes that would bring an end to the huge class differences and disrespect to the native Mexican population) rose in arms, and forced Huerta into exile. Then, they battled each other for many more years. It became known as la bola - When somebody joined the revolutionary forces, people said he went to fight with the crowd. But, inside the crowd, there were very different points of view. No, Carranza, Villa and Zapata (the foremost leaders in the hardest part of the fight) were not power-hungry barbarians - much to the contrary. They had very full, very complex views of the problem and possible solutions. I won't delve much into them, also, as I'm not an expert...
Villa and Zapata had the most compatible approaches, seeking an aggresive land redistribution, a communal property system (closest to most of the indigenous population's roots, what we would now call usos y costumbres). For the government, both favored going towards a Europe-like parliamentary system, where the parliament were the real force, and the president (or prime minister or whatever) would only be the designated person to implement the parliament's decision. Both Villa and Zapata feared the evil stemming from the unlimited power that the Presidential Chair symbolized (Fui soldado de Francisco Villa / de aquel hombre de fama mundial, / que aunque estuvo sentado en la silla / no envidiaba la presidencial). They met at the Aguascalientes convention, and were quite close to each other - but were defeated by the superior Venustiano Carranza (Constitucionalista) army.
Carranza, although vilified for his corruption (nowadays, carrancear is still a synonim for stealing), had an opposite view - also originating from a very deep analysis. Carranza saw that what brought down Madero was, in the end, the lack of power of the President to rule the country without support from the legislative power. So, he pushed a political program making the President the strongest man in Mexico. He and his people wrote and passed the 1917 Constitution, valid today. This constitution goes to great lengths pushing revolutionary ideals - Land and wealth redistribution, universal and free education, keeps a complete separation between state and church, ensures state control over strategic areas... The 1917 constitution is one of our history's greatest achievements.
But, of course, it is not perfect - it paved the way for a hegemonic party controlling the real power behind it all. PRI started as a very heterogeneous mixture of the whole revolutionary family, but slowly became a bureaucratic, stagnated monolith.
And in a somehow ironic twist of destiny, the forces that today push for deepest changes, and precisely in the same direction that Villa and Zapata wished, are... Ejército Zapatista de Liberación Nacional (EZLN) and Frente Popular Francisco Villa (FPFV). EZLN is far more successful and advanced in its social experiment. Again, I won't comment further in what I don't really understand.
As a last point, the commenter I'm quoting (and whose name I must get, to update this post!), said that practically in every country that has transited from any sort of dictatorship towards a more-or-less believable democracy (say, everywhere in South America, or Spain, or Eastern Europe, or...), one of the first steps has been to update or replace the constitution with a new one, preventing the mistakes overlooked by the previous one from being reinstated. In our country, we have long heard about the "Reforma del Estado", a very nice-sounding-term which nobody believes in. After the 2006 electoral mess (no matter who won in the end, everybody will agree it was a mess that should be prevented from happening again, we had high hopes of real changes being introduced. A parliamentary, or at least semi-presidentialist regime was strongly suggested as a way forward. Changing the electoral system towards having second-rounds if needed. _anything!_ But no, we were stuck with... The same as always.
So, did the Revolution win or lose? It is clear to me. It won, and it really shaped -for better- what would happen in the next 100 years. However, in a century, we have been able to twist the law to make it turn against itself. I have to agree with my EZLN-minded friends (I sympathize with EZLN's general goals, but don't think its way forward is the right way to go): Pushing the change from within the government is just wishful thinking, but a strong delusion. However, is there a way to push our country forward without repeating a violent cycle? I really hope so. Our current situation is simply pathetic.

Este es un post rapido, desde hace poco mas de un ano , habia estado trabajdno con XFCE 4 despues de haber usado por mas de 2 o 3 anos GNOME, Claro XFCE con los GNOMEServices. Pero de repente.. .. me doy cuenta que tener una interfaz bonita se me va todo el poder de computo qeu necesito asi que ahora estoy exagerando e incursionando en otros Window Managers.

Me di cuenta que usar twm no es tan arcaico como pensaba. Es incluso divertido. Pero bueno, me habia acostumbrado a los multiples desktops, y ahora soy dependiente de ellos por lo que comence a usar OpenBox. Con lo que ahora estoy feliz. Porque OpenBox en lugar de FluxBox o BlackBox? la respuesta es bastante purista: Esta escrito en C puro :) Los demas en C++ por lo que para mi fanatismo inexistente quedo como anillo al dedo .

Tambien probe ion pero aun no estoy preparado ( ocupo muchas cosas de varias ventanitas ) .. para este tipo :) Cuando salga o sepa como hacerlo de manera diferente probabl,emente. Muy probablemete lo hare

Por más que trato de entender, mis neuronas se chamuscan antes de hacer sinapsis.

No entiendo en verdad dónde radica el problema.
La única cosa que veo con mi limitado prisma es que es falta de hambre. Creo que un jugador bien pagado, que vive como rey y que se siente la mamá de los pollitos pierde la escencia del llano, pierde su raíz de vida, pierde lo que lo movió a ser bueno para el panbol.

En los tiempos en que el futbolista tiene hambre no le importa si va a viajar en primera clase o si telerisa lo va a invitar a su programa. No le importa si tv olmeca le dará los micrófonos o si será el nuevo anunciante de calzones pre-oxidados.
Un futbolista con hambre de éxito, con ganas de meterle una docena de goles a la portería rival se rifa el físico, sale a partirse el alma, sale a GANAR.

En el momento en que el jugador sale a cuidar sus piernas, a tratar de empatar porque pues si de todos modos pasamos, para que arriesgarse?
Cuando el futbolista sale a la cancha buscando la cámara para darle su mejor ángulo a la cámara pretendiendo ser contratado para el nuevo comercial de cremas de belleza ha perdido el foco.

Nuestros futbolistas se han convertido en muñecas de aparador, son bellezas de monitor de tv que neceitan cuidar sus nalguitas y su rostro. Han dejado de ser futbolistas para ser artistas porno.

Muchas cosas han pasado desde la ultima vez que escribi, entre a trabajar, tuve qeu salirme puesto qeu tengo qeu terminar mi tesis, en la cual he estado trabjando. Tengo que terminar algunas chambitas, asisti al enli, conoci muchas personas,, blah. todo bien personalmente. mal economicamente. Espero solo sea un par de meses mas.

Ahora deberia tener que escribir pero no no tengo mucho que escribir, sin embargo me gustaria comentar cosas que si he aprendido en este pequeo lapso de tiempo.

Primero: mantener todo ta simple como se pueda, y en ese 'mantener' ahora estor tratando de implementar muchas cosas que antes no tenia de manera mas sencilla, p ej. deje algunas aplicaciones graficas por algunas clasicas: Ahora uso mutt + fetchmail + procmail, que poco a poco estoy aprendiendo a configurar, Utilzo bti para twittear --- algo tendre qeu hacer para leer los mensajes de los demas --- , compile hace unas horas el finch y me parecio bastante afgradabe... hrmm y ando en un mal viaje de latex que debi aprender hace mucho. Los ultimos codigos que he escrito los he estado llevando con git y hrmm no se que mas comentar.

pareceria fanatismo. y tal vez lo sea. pero creanme. la vida como se simplifica de esa manera.

Ahora, pq quiero comentarlo? no se.. tal vez me hubiera gustado leer un post asi hace mucho tiempo. Igual hubiera intentado pelearme 1 hora en configurar alguna de estas aplicaciones para aprenderla de por vida que solo configurar un par de cajitas magicas :)

Aparte de  google redesigned de globex designs, Ahora podemos usar temas que google nos esta facilitando, tal como lo ofrecen con igoogle.
Checa tu gmail y ve si ya te habilitaron esa opcion.
